Developing business in Colombia
The first business mission organised by EU-TEXTILE2030 is almost there: from July 23rd to 27th, the partners will exhibit at Colombia Moda, the main trade fair for the textile industry in Colombia in Medellín.
EU-TEXTILE2030 will have a 27 sqm booth for European companies to present their textile innovation, and develop business in Latin America.
Besides building business relations, the EU-TEXTILE2030 partners will take part in conference talks on key topics of the advanced textile materials industry: sustainability and circular economy, smart textile for medical applications, and digitalization.
Exploring the Colombian textile ecosystem
The Colombia Moda trade fair is the first step of the mission. The second step is to know more about the current progresses of the Colombian textile industry. Companies taking part in the mission will have the opportunity to visit companies (Fabricato, Expofaro), to meet Colombian institutions (Ruta N, ACI) and to meet the director of the textile engineering and nanotechnologies department of the Universitad Pontificia Bolovariana.
